One thing I don't highlight enough is how selfless and loving our dogs are. Being in the veterinary field, my dogs have been blood donors many times. The loving donations make it possible for the recipients to keep living. Originally, Alfred was our go to man. When he aged out of the ability to give blood with out making him tired, we asked the other kiddos if they were okay with such acts. All of our dogs have saved a life at least once. Maybelline saved her first life just yesterday. She gladly sat though the process as if it were nothing. She got rewarded a steak dinner, ( as they all do) after her donation. I love having such well mannered, loving babies. They make my life so much fuller. Just wanted to shout out to the lady of the hour!
