Heritage Falls Homestead Newfoundlands

 Welcome to our homestead!

I'm Savanaha, our lives revolve around our love for natural living and home preservation.

To us, nothing is better than being tucked away in the woods, with our animals.

We work with the land to provide as much as we can for our family.

Our homestead consists of 120 acres; nestled in the seclusion of dense forest. Towering sandstone cliffs, cascading waterfalls and all the space our dogs could dream of.

We live a simple, blessed life together.

It's our pleasure to raise such a magnificent breed. Thank you for your interest!

We currently have four Newfs in our program.

Sire: Zhack & Dams: Elsie, Lana and Maybelline.

Click on their photos to learn more about them in the gallery!

Our program adults have been selected for their health, temperament and type.

Our litters can be evaluated for the capability of work or service.

We complete breed standard genetic testing for Degenerative Myelopathy and Cystinuria. All of our program dogs have had their hearts cleared by ultrasound and have been evaluated for hip and elbow displasia.

Your puppy comes home with a two-year congenital/genetic health guarantee, this is outlined in our contract.

We educate our families on rearing a healthy Newfoundland from puppy hood to the golden years.

Before inquiring, please do your research on the breed. Know their needs and understand the care requirements that come with owning a giant, throughout their life.

We offer a lifetime of education and support surrounding your Newfie.

Once you adopt a puppy from us, your family.

I'm a veterinary technician, certified in Canine Behavior/Training. My husband lovingly tends to our children and farm.

Placing Newfs of sound health, temperament and structure is one of my great joys in life.

When seeking service prospects, I reference a superb mentor who has trained service animals for over 20 years. We have many accomplished puppies who have graduated into professional work and service for their families.

Raising Your Puppy

Ensuring our puppies flourish, mentally and physically.

Nourishing growth in mind, body and spirit!

Our kiddos are raised in home, underfoot.

Ensuring puppies are easily adaptive, makes them equipped for life with you. Puppy Culture and ENS help us accomplish that.

From day three we start Early Neurological Stimulation. This is a series of musculoskeletal manipulations and intentional stimuli of the nervous system.

Research shows that ENS aids in the development of the Neurological and Cardiovascular systems. Intentional handling daily gets them used to touch early on.

We start Puppy Culture curriculum at three weeks.

They will have age-appropriate exposure to

Potty Training, Crate Training, Basic Commands, Grooming, Water, Animals, Scents, People and Places. I keep you updated along the way!

The first 12 weeks of your puppy's life is crucial for a solid foundation. It's important to us, that we set them up for success.

FAQ's: Bringing home one of our Newfs.

From our family to yours, we send our love!

• If you are interested in a puppy text or call me! If you call and I'm not available, please leave me a voicemail with your name. We're also active on Facebook.

• I like to set up a time to video chat so we can become better aquatinted. I take time to understand a family's needs and expectations around a puppy.

After formalities, I can get you placed on our waitlist, or we can look at availability if there is a litter on the ground.

• After placing your reservation for your puppy, I'll keep you updated through one-on-one video chats and photos/videos of your baby while they're with us. Your puppy can go home after they're 8 weeks old and they've had their final vet clearance with us.
• Your puppy comes home to you with record of their medical care, current vaccines and early health clearances on heart, eyes and structural soundness.

They come with confirmation of health from our veterinarian; obtained at their final vet visit. Your puppy will be started on preventatives for flea, tick, heartworm and intestinal parasites. I can also arrange microchipping.

• Our reservation price is non-refundable; it is transferable to a future litter.

The $500 reservation holds your puppy until their go home date. The reservation fee comes off the total price of your puppy which is $2,800. The remainder is due when your baby is in your arms.

*We accept Cash, Venmo, PayPal and Personal Checks.

• We deliver and love to travel!

Our delivery cost is dependent on means of delivery and distance! We offer air and ground transportation. We never send our kiddos anywhere alone. I always fly with them, in cabin.

Looking for their forever love!

We currently do not have any puppies on the ground; but we have lovely plans for the spring and summer.

We will whelp from

Maybelline & Zhack.

We will see service, therapy and show capabilities from their offspring.

Send me an email or text for more information. I will send you our puppy questionnaire!

Beulah's Family in Missouri

" Our sweetest gift, Beulah came to us deeply rooted in love and ready to take on the world! Savannah made it very easy for us to prepare for her arrival. Communication was great!
We had been on a waitlist for a few months before being notified of a breeding. She kept us updated with sonograms until pups arrived. We video chatted frequently; she was very thorough when evaluating puppies. After we chose our girl, she kept us up to date on her tasks, and other fun antics. She traveled to us very reasonably as well. Our girl is healthy and thriving.
I would recommend them to anyone looking to adopt a Newfie." - Cheryl

Kenji's Family in Maine

Savanaha is an absolute joy to work with! Her professionalism and promptness are to be admired as well as her diligence that shines through the newfie puppies. Our puppy came to us basically potty and crate trained at 8 weeks. None of that would have been possible without Savanaha's care. Any time I have had a question Savanaha has been helpful both with resources as well as practical advice. She sends plenty of pictures of your puppy as they are growing and has a talent of placing newfies in a home that best fits them. Our puppy, Kenji, is exactly what we wanted out of a puppy. Only a knowledgeable breeder who cares about her clients and is a thoughtful listener would be able to provide suggestions as well as she does! Our puppy has had no health issues so far and is growing like a weed! If you're considering getting a Newfoundland, Savanaha is your girl. You seriously cannot do better than her.
