Heritage Falls Homestead Newfoundlands

Welcome to our homestead! I'm Savanaha. Our lives revolve around our love for natural living. To us, nothing is better than being tucked away in the woods, with our animals and garden. We work with the land to provide as much as we can for our family.

It's our pleasure to raise such a magnificent breed, they have blessed us so much.

There is nothing like the love of a Newfoundland. Thank you for your interest in our program!

• Our homestead consists of 120 beautiful acres; nestled in the seclusion of dense forest. Towering sandstone cliffs, cascading waterfalls and all the space our dogs could dream of. We always say, we bought the land for the dogs, they know it's the truth! We have four Newfs in our program. Sire: Church & Dams: Elsie, Lana and Maybelline. Click on their photos to learn more about them!

• Our litters can be evaluated for the capability of work or service. Not every litter has service prospect, but I can work with you to find a puppy that will fit your needs as a service partner. We temperament test all puppies to best place them.

Our girls have limited whelpings. We only breed if we have a wait-list that merits.

• Ensuring our Newfs are of optimal health and condition is our main priority.
We genetic test for heritable diseases and conditions. We complete breed standard testing for Degenerative Myelopathy and Cystinuria through Gen-Sol genetics. In addition, our Newfies have been evaluated for hip and elbow dysplasia and their predisposition for osteoarthritis. We educate our families on the proper components of rearing a healthy Newfoundland. We like to provide prospective families with an informational packet for reference about the breed. Your puppy comes home with a two-year congenital/genetic health grantee, this is outlined in our contract.

• Please research Newfoundlands; their needs and understand the care requirements that come with owning a giant breed dog. We offer a lifetime of education and support surrounding your Newfie. Once you adopt a puppy from us, you're our family.

Savanaha Campbell & Anthony McGrew

I'm a Veterinary Technician with an educational background in Wildlife Biology. My husband, Anthony, lovingly tends our land and cares for our kiddos, human and animal alike. Our focus is on providing you with a family member, to love and cherish for their lifetime.

I'm certified in Canine Behavior/Training and Animal Naturopathy.

I strive to bring a fresh outlook to raising your Newfoundland. We prioritize the health of their mind, body and spirit. Providing our families with a Newf of sound temperament, intelligence, as well as physical & mental ability and adaptivity. When seeking service prospects, I reference a superb mentor who has trained service animals for over 20 years.

Raising Your Puppy

Ensuring our puppies flourish, mentally and physically!

Please ask about our training process!

Raising puppies that are mentally and physically adapted, make them equipped for life with you. Training is a key component to our program.

From day three we start early neurological stimulation.

This is a series of musculoskeletal manipulations and intentional stimuli of the nervous system. Literature shows that ENS helps strengthen the Cardiovascular and Endocrine system. Intentional handling daily gets them used to touch early on. Puppies undergo ENS until we start Puppy Culture curriculum at three weeks.

We start familiarizing them with potty training by using grates with scents of the outdoors. They are also allowed to individually spend time in and out of a crate freely, as they are in their play area.

Puppies are exposed to new stimuli daily as part of their curriculum. Different sights and sounds from a young age help to create a learning environment that produces a Newfoundland of sound mind and strong ability to thrive in adult situations.

I also spend time introducing our babies to basic commands and training work.  I love to see my babies thrive in homes where Obedience, Early Access and K-9 Good Citizen Certification training will be achieved.

FAQ's: Adopting Our Newfs.

From our family to yours, we send our love!

• If you are interested in a puppy text or call me! If you call and I'm not available, please leave me a voicemail with your name. We're also on Facebook.

• I like to set up a time to video chat so we can become better aquatinted. I like to understand a family's needs and expectations around a puppy. After formalities, I can get you placed on our wait-list or we can look at availability if we have a litter on the ground.

• After placing your reservation for your puppy, I'll keep you updated through one-on-one video chats and photos/videos of your baby while they're with us. Your puppy can go home after they're 10 weeks old and they've had their final vet clearance with us.

• Your puppy comes home to you with record of their medical care, current vaccines and early health clearances on heart, eyes and structural wellness. They come with a written bill of health from our veterinarian at their final visit. In addition, they are started on preventatives for flea, tick, heartworm and intestinal parasites. I can also arrange microchipping at their last wellness visit. There is additional paperwork.

• Our reservation price is non-refundable; it is transferable to a future litter.

The $500 reservation holds your puppy until their go home date. The reservation fee comes off the total price of your puppy which is $2,000. The remainder is due when your baby is in your arms.

*We accept Cash, Venmo, PayPal and Personal Checks.

• We deliver and love to travel! Our delivery cost is dependent on means of delivery and distance! We offer air and ground transportation. We never send our kiddos anywhere alone. I always fly with them, in cabin. We aren't currently planning farm visits at this time. We plan to resume later, within the year!

                  Taking time...

In the coming year, we've decided to take a rest.

I am furthering my training education.

In addition, we are working with an exceptional kennel in Poland that will help us better the breed here in the U.S.

Importing will take some time and travel. I will keep you all involved throughout the process.

We are elated to introduce first generation European lineage into our program.

We're also breaking ground for a new facility for our kiddos!

Our new building will be equipped with a grooming room and all the posh things they deserve.

Beau's Family!

"We had a wonderful experience with Heritage Falls. Communication was warm and friendly. Savanaha took time during our phone conversation to inform us and help us decide if Beau was right for us. Keeping us updated during our trip to arrival. Beau came to us very healthy and well trained. Beau started out in life on a farm familiar with poultry. He approaches his first birthday a huge bundle of joy and laughs. A perfect experience."

Kenji's Family in Maine

Savanaha is an absolute joy to work with! Her professionalism and promptness is to be admired as well as her diligence that shines through the newfie puppies. Our puppy came to us basically potty and crate trained, at 8 weeks. None of that would have been possible without Savanaha's care. Any time I have had a question Savanaha has been helpful both with resources as well as practical advice. She sends plenty of pictures of your puppy as they are growing and has a talent of placing newfies in a home that best fits them. Our puppy, Kenji, is exactly what we wanted out of a puppy. Only a knowledgeable breeder who cares about her clients and is a thoughtful listener would be able to provide suggestions as well as she does! Our puppy has had no health issues so far and is growing like a weed! If you're considering getting a Newfoundland, Savanaha is your girl. You seriously cannot do better than her.
